Have you ever wondered why photographers don’t have pictures of themselves in their portfolios? It’s because while we love our work, our work isn’t beautiful because of us. It’s beautiful because of you. As a photographer, I enjoy shooting portraits because they capture special moments in time. I love working with families – new ones and growing ones – and am thrilled to be able to provide them with photos that they will be able to look at years down the road and remember a wonderful time in their lives.
Family has been a huge part of my work from the beginning. Growing up in Georgia, I became interested in photography after practicing by taking photos of my three beautiful sisters. The joy of capturing those moments with them, and now being able to look back at those photos, puts a smile not only on my face, but also my family’s. And now, I’m starting a family of my own to carry out those traditions.
I am so blessed to be married to a man who supports my passion for photography and encourages me every day to fulfill my dream to be a photographer. Alex truly is the best lifetime “second shooter” I could possibly ask for, and I thank God for him every day. We look forward to growing our family in the future, and are excited about the life that has been planned for us.
